History
Byte Back was founded in 1997 by Glenn Stein, a community leader and computer professional. He realized that the reliance on computers is ever increasing in the workplace, while training for unemployed and underemployed people doesn’t keep pace with the demand for information technology skills. Twelve years ago, Byte Back began providing hands-on computer training with the help of volunteer computer professionals. As a result economically disadvantaged people have acquired marketable computer skills and obtained employment.
